An Intimate Brooklyn Wedding at The Castle by Marlow Events

Steph and Blake had their wedding ceremony and reception at The Castle by Marlow Events, a cool event space nestled in the heart of Red Hook, Brooklyn. All about their wedding was special, and we couldn't be happier to be part of their special day with our signature floral arrangements as their main decor focal point.

I met Steph from Pictured Minded a few years ago at the Wedding Crashers Fair in Brooklyn. A super cool wedding industry event that we both were participating in. Since then we have worked on different occasions and I simply love her style, and creative photographic energy.

Steph and Blake’s wedding was the last one I worked for before Covid chaos, just a day after Valentine’s Day. Their papers were signed on Valentine’s Day, actually exactly 5 years after they first met. On the following day, they had a ceremony and reception The Castle by Marlow Events, a cool event space nestled in the heart of Red Hook, Brooklyn.

All about their wedding was special, and I couldn't be happier to be part of their special day with our signature floral arrangements as their main decor focal point.

I was beyond inspired by the overall direction that the couple shared with me for creating their wedding flowers. The color palette was gorgeous, in different shades of pink, coral and neutrals for a soft yet very cool look.  We incorporated lots of texture and accents to the arrangements, including pampas grass, pink blossom branches for reflecting the cool style the couple was looking for. 

Although their first anniversary was a couple of weeks ago, I still want to wish them a Happy Paper Anniversary!
